Aalto University School of Economics (former Helsinki School of Economics HSE, founded in 1911) is the largest and the leading business university in Finland and also a top-level business university in Europe.
Based on both high quality scientific research and intensive company relations, we give our students up-to-date education that combines extensive theoretical studies with experience of real business life. The academic degrees offered are the Bachelor, Master, Licentiate and Doctor of Science in Economics and Business Administration.

Aalto University Student projects: Not far from Dedougou
The customised project concept of the Aalto University School of Economics showed its versatility in a concrete way in the case of Burkina Faso in West Africa.
The challenging task was to provide better circumstances for everyday life for a poor community. A well was established near an elementary school situated in the city of Dedougou in Burkina Faso. The well brought clean drinking water to the school and local inhabitants and enabled the practice of agriculture.
